Stefan Pokorny is bringing Dwarven Forge to Genghis Con 2025!

Founder of Dwarven Forge

Stefan Pokorny

Stefan Pokorny is a designer and artist known for his origination and popularization of the Dwarven Forge miniature three-dimensional terrain systems. Stefan dreamed of emulating the elegance of Roman, Greek, and English architecture from his studies, Stefan yearned for a terrain system to complement his collection of miniatures, yet found nothing to suit his imagination. So Stefan set out to sculpt the first-of-its-kind: a fully modular, 3-D terrain system that came fully hand-painted. When not shaping tabletops everywhere, Stefan DJs Black Sabbath tribute parties.

Luke Gygax

Luke Gygax is the son of Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) co-creator Gary Gygax, Ennie Award winning designer, and Founder of Gary Con® ( garycon.com). Luke literally grew up at the gaming table with the designers who laid the foundation of the RPG industry. He played the iconic character Melf, whose spells are still in the D&D rules. Luke is an author and game designer with numerous design credits including The Lost City of Gaxmoor, The Eye of Chentoufi, Dread From Geneva Lake, and The Tomb of Gyzaengaxx. Luke is thoroughly enjoying being a leader in the gaming community after he retired from the US Army in 2022 after 33 years of service. Luke resides in Southern California with his beautiful wife, Bouchra, their three daughters, Miriam, Amira and Sabrina, as well as his faithful canine companion, Grogu Spoticus Gygax. You can follow Luke on social media (@lukegygax) and the gaxxworx.com website.

“Wrath of the Sea Lich” is an old-school dungeon delve set in Luke Gygax’s World of Okkorim using the award-winning Shadowdark RPG system. Can the party stop the machinations of Ireshkigal, a vengeful lich, before her plot to restore the Ydrissid Empire dooms millions? Find the Eye of Chentoufi and stop the return of the ancient lich, Ireshkigal! Created by Luke Gygax and Matt Everhart, “Wrath of the Sea Lich” revives the old-school gaming spirit.

Gooey Cube is keeping Genghis Con Sticky!

Alphinius Goo

Alphinius Goo is a somewhat eccentric archmage who abides on the continent of West Verdestia in the tainted and broken world of Zyathé. There he lives with his sorcerous wife, Di’yannea, in the Tower of Goo which is situated on an island in the Mystrune River in the heartland of the Republic of Zyranthea. Arguably, he is among the most widely recognized spellcasters of the current age and is said to have traveled the world on many adventurous exploits. Beloved by many and an irritating foe to certain evildoers, his unique obsession with oozes, slimes, cubes, and other gelatinous creatures has resulted in the creation of many fascinating — and invariably sticky — new spells. Many of these incantations’ purpose or practical use baffle even the wisest mages, but they have spread far and wide amongst the more creative sorts of spellcasters. If nothing else, they provide a great deal of entertainment for those casting them, though many foes have underestimated their potential in the right situations to their detriment.

In real life his name is Kim and he has been a creative director in the advertising industry for many years. He is an award-winning copywriter and published author and is one of the founders of Gooey Cube Games. Kim loves to play all manner of TTRPGs, is rumored to be a pretty good Game Master and is, most assuredly, a total geek.

You Too Can Cthulhu Will Drive You Mad (with fun)!

You Too Can Cthulhu

You Too Can Cthulhu (YTCC) is a team of Game Masters (keepers) dedicated to running original scenarios of Chaosium’s Call of Cthulhu role-playing game at table-top game conventions. Our games focus on story and roleplay, and are therefore accessible to new gamers and seasoned veterans alike. We teach the 7th Edition Call of Cthulhu rules in the context of the games, so players do not need advance knowledge of this system to participate.

You Too Can Cthulhu events make extensive use of lighting, props and multimedia to create a unique atmosphere. Call of Cthulhu benefits from mood and setting. You Too Can Cthulhu events are designed to take advantage of dedicated private space to create memorable immersive scenarios.

You Too Can Cthulhu has been running events at Gen Con since 2006. In addition to Gen Con, YTCC also attends GaryCon, Chaosium Con, Gamehole Con, Who’s Yer Con. For 2025, we are excited to add GenghisCon to our schedule.
